Bob:
Oh my gosh. We are so excited this morning. Santa Claus joins us. Really an exclusive for us. Thank you, Santa.

Santa:
I was sent here and I really enjoy being with you too. And thank you for having me.

Mary:
We have to thank Pat Brown from Holt and Diamondale Insurance Agency for giving me the time today. Yeah. Thank you Pat and thank you Santa.

Bob:
So, so I’m curious, how are the preparations going for your upcoming flight?

Santa:
Well, I just, I just, I’ve had these toys with me forever and I just couldn’t get up to Gladwin in a long time. Over by your house. And in Webberville, I think Bob you’re from Weberville…

Bob:
Yeah…

Santa:
And I couldn’t get one to you. So there you are. This is the busy time of the year. Mrs Claus is up there doing everything. Getting the kids, the Elves ready. The cookies ready…It is a hot hopping time of the year up there.

Mary:
Okay. Well I know that safety is important to you. Santa. Can you give some tips to our viewers? Yup.

Santa:
It’s a shame quite often when Santa does his trips that he flies over certain areas and the houses are gone. That he was going to visit. And come to find out later that something happened in the house that, you know, they couldn’t enjoy Christmas because of an unsafe situation.

Mary:
Right.

Santa:
One of my big pet peeves is candles. You know, we have the smelly candles this time of the year and we want to burn them. And it’s a no, no. Now here’s, I don’t know if any of you’ve seen these ones yet, but these are the flameless candles. Kids can play with them. That’s okay. They go out by themselves, they have a timer on them. And I’m really, really, really promoting the use of those because there has been so many fires and even children have died in those kinds of situations.

Santa:
Some of the other stuff, I’ve got a little list here that I put together.

Mary:
Oh, you and your list.

Santa:
I know. One is your outdoor lights. Now up at the North Pole, we got some old, old, old lights and led lights, and then somebody told me about led lights. Those are the great ones to use. They don’t draw as much power. You should only plug in one cord at a time. Not a string of 50 of them. Check your cords. Turn your lights off if you leave, or at night, make sure that they get of. Um, musical holiday cards and maybe you haven’t seen this. LIttle kids like to play with them? Yeah, they got a little batteries in them. Little kids play with them and they get away and boom.

Bob:
Oh, hey, have we been good kids?

Mary:
Are we still on the good list?

Santa:
You’re still on the good boy and girl list. No coal in your stocking this year!

Bob:
Santa, Thank you so much for the gift.

Santa:
Oh, you’re welcome.

Mary:
That’s all of our time for now on the Morning Blend.

Bob:
Make it a great day.
